My grandmother was the picture taker of our family, she took photos of everything and everyone. To freeze every memory. She was my best friend and my biggest role model. When she became sick, and dementia stole her memories - all those books of photos were a lifeline to herself and to our life. I always loved photography, it has been a life long hobby, because of her. But when she passed, and my family gathered around to go through the extensive photo books, I realized that photography is so much more than simply taking pictures, it is freezing a moment and preserving a memory. That is when I decided to become a professional photographer.
